You have the hospitality degree. You have been building your experience. Now comes the harder question: how do you actually get in front of the right U.S. employer?
That is exactly what HRC Virtual Event Week: Europe Edition is designed to make easier. From 29 September to 2 October 2026, hospitality graduates and professionals can meet participating U.S. Host Employers virtually, learn what they are looking for, and explore opportunities across Culinary, Food & Beverage, and Rooms.
And this is not just another webinar where you listen and leave. The event is built around direct employer access, with on-the-spot interview opportunities* for eligible candidates.
Why This Event Could Matter for Your Career
International hospitality experience can give you more than another line on your CV. HRC's U.S. hospitality programs are structured around hands-on training in hotels and restaurants, with pathways in Rooms, Culinary, and Food & Beverage. HRC also highlights benefits such as cross-cultural exposure, practical skill development, and the chance to build an international professional network. Explore HRC's U.S. hospitality program.
For candidates, Virtual Event Week can shorten the distance between “I want international experience” and “I am actually speaking with a U.S. employer.” You can hear directly from the participating properties, understand the environment you may be training in, and present your experience in a real employer conversation.
In practical terms, that means you can:
· Learn what different U.S. hospitality environments look for before committing to an opportunity.
· Connect your existing experience to a specific department: Culinary, F&B, or Rooms.
· Practice communicating your value to an international employer - a skill that matters far beyond one interview.
· Explore training environments that can expose you to different service standards, guest expectations, teams, and operating styles.
Four Employers. Four Different Ways to Grow.
The strongest reason to join? The employer lineup gives you access to very different corners of U.S. hospitality - from Michelin-recognized fine dining to established luxury and international hotel operations.
1. Fábio Trabocchi Restaurants | Culinary
29 Sep 2026 | 08:30 AM EDT
If your goal is to sharpen your culinary standards, this is the session to watch. The group's flagship, Fiola in Washington, D.C., is Michelin-starred, while Fábio Trabocchi Restaurants says its culture emphasizes continuous learning, career development, service, quality sourcing, and creativity.
Why it matters: exposure to a restaurant group operating at this level can show you how precision, consistency, ingredient quality, creativity, and guest experience come together in fine dining.

2. Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza | Culinary
30 Sep 2026 | 08:00 AM CT
Loews describes its Nashville property as a 341-room hotel in Midtown near Music Row and the longest-running Tennessee hotel to maintain consecutive AAA Four-Diamond status.
Why it matters: for a culinary professional, a full-service luxury hotel can expose you to the pace and standards of hotel food operations, where consistency and guest experience must work across a larger hospitality ecosystem.

The Bigger Benefit: You Are Not Only Applying - You Are Learning How the Industry Works
A good international opportunity should help you understand more than your daily tasks. It should challenge the way you communicate, solve problems, work with different people, and understand guest expectations. HRC describes its J-1 hospitality pathways as hands-on training designed to develop professional skills while giving participants exposure to U.S. hospitality and culture.
For example, HRC's program overview highlights department rotations, dedicated career guidance, interview coaching, visa preparation, and onboarding support. See HRC's program support.
That is why the value of Virtual Event Week is not simply “four employers in four days.” It is the chance to start understanding which hospitality environment fits the skills you want to build next.
Before You Join: Make the Employer Remember You
If an interview opportunity opens during the event, you do not want your first thought to be, “Wait... what should I say?” Prepare before the session so you can spend the conversation showing why your background makes sense for the opportunity.
1. Build a 30-second introduction. Mention your current role or hospitality background, your strongest relevant experience, and the department you want to develop in.
2. Research the employer you actually want to meet. Do not use the same answer for a Michelin-recognized restaurant group and a full-service hotel. Their operating environments are different - your questions should be too.
3. Prepare one example, not five adjectives. Instead of saying you are “hardworking, passionate, and adaptable,” prepare a short real example of handling a guest, a busy service, a team challenge, or a responsibility you owned.
4. Know what you want to learn. Employers are not only hearing what you have done. Be ready to explain what skill, department, or hospitality environment you want to grow into next.
Your U.S. Journey Does Not Have to Start With a Plane Ticket
It can start with one conversation. One employer session. One interview where you finally get to explain the experience behind your CV.
HRC Virtual Event Week: Europe Edition runs from 29 September to 2 October 2026. If you are a hospitality graduate or professional exploring U.S. experience, save the dates, research the employers, and show up ready to talk about where you want your career to go next.
