HRC Virtual Event Week: Connecting Hospitality Talent Globally

What happens when hospitality professionals gain direct access to luxury hotel employers from around the world?

That question became reality during HRC Virtual Event Week, where hospitality candidates had the opportunity to learn directly from industry leaders, connect with employers, and explore international hospitality opportunities.

For the first time, HRC International invited Host Employers directly into a virtual event format, allowing participants not only to learn about the hospitality industry but also interact directly with hiring teams. More importantly, the event successfully resulted in more than 15 candidates being hired directly through the sessions.

Three Days of Hospitality Insights, Career Growth, and Employer Connections

Throughout 26–28 May 2026, HRC International brought together luxury hospitality employers and hospitality talents through three virtual sessions featuring leaders from The Seagate, Hyatt Regency New Orleans, and Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa.

Across the three days, participants gained direct access to employer perspectives on hospitality leadership, recruitment, career progression, operational excellence, and international opportunities. Speakers including Rafael Quezada, Courtney Martin, James Kratofil, Ryan O’Hara, Mike Wehner, and Tiffany Watson shared not only their professional journeys but also the values that drive success within hospitality organizations.

“And that open mind that I want to learn from what I'm doing is going to be something that's going to set you up for success in anything that you do, most importantly in hospitality.”
— Ryan O’Hara, Director of Rooms, Hyatt Regency New Orleans

Beyond employer presentations, participants also had the opportunity to interact directly with hospitality leaders, ask questions, and gain insights that often cannot be found through traditional recruitment channels.

A Participant Story That Brought Hospitality to Life

One of the most meaningful moments during Virtual Event Week came from hearing directly from current J-1 participant Claire Margot Soucail.

Currently completing her J-1 program at Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Claire shared her experience adapting to life in the United States, developing professionally within luxury hospitality, and embracing cultural exchange through her daily work experience.

Her story reminded participants that international hospitality experiences create more than career growth—they create personal growth, cultural understanding, and lifelong memories.

Why Direct Employer Access Matters

Virtual Event Week allowed participants to:

✅ Learn directly from hospitality leaders
