Housing in Atlanta is extremely varied, with prices very dependent on which neighborhood you are living in. It is recommended that candidates actually go visit apartments in person before they decide to pay for one. We suggest that candidates use our J1 Buddy program, as well as the J1 Facebook for HRC candidates in Atlanta to find possible roommates as well, which will help cut the costs of housing and allow candidates to live in more desirable neighborhoods. Below is a list of housing websites that we recommend candidates look on to begin their housing search! Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $2,500 as startup capital and to help secure housing.
