Are you passionate about the hospitality industry? Do you love to be in the heart of the action? If so, you are the perfect candidate for our Rooms department at the 4-Star Hilton in the US capital!

As part of this exciting position, you will have the chance to rotate through Front Desk Supervisor, Engineering Coordinator, and Assistant Front Desk Manager - Operations. You will be able to hone your skills and gain valuable experience, all while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

During your time off, there's no shortage of things to do in the city. You can explore the incredible museums, such as the Spy, News, and Smithsonian museums, or take in the masterpieces at the National Gallery of Art. Of course, you can't miss the opportunity to visit the many national monuments, like the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and Jefferson Memorial. And for those seeking a bit of excitement, take a ride on the Capital Wheel at the National Harbor.

Placement Remarks

Uniform is provided.

The employee cafe is currently closed. Meal credit for each shift worked is provided instead.

Two weeks of housing will be offered upon their arrival. The candidate will need to provide their own transportation to the property.

Salary

$31.50 per hour

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

World-famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see! You can visit the Lincoln MemorialThe White House, and other attractions.

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
