Housing:
Located in the Washington DC Metro area, Arlington can be moderately expensive. A studio apartment can start around $1,400+ per month, unfurnished. HRC recommends that you consider rooming with another J1 or local to share the cost of living. Please note, without established credit, a deposit of the first and last month’s rent may be required. HRC recommends you bring at least $3,000 as start-up capital to help secure housing.
