Gain hands-on training in beautiful, historic Washington, DC during spring 2022 at this modern boutique Viceroy Hotel, perfectly located in the heart of the city. Enjoy a highly walkable destination rich in history, renowned for its diverse culture, and celebrated for exceptional dining experiences.

Rate of pay:
Orientation/GSA Rate: $18.50, supervisor: $20.00
A uniform will be provided, There is an employee break room for you to bring in your own meals into. A staff meal will not be provided.

You will need to fly into DCA upon your arrival. The Hotel will offer up to 14 days of complimentary housing to cover room and tax. All other expenses are your own. Transportation to the hotel provided by hotel.

You will accrue personal time off after 90 days.

Salary

$18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠  ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠  ⁠You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

•⁠  ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

World-famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see! You can visit the Lincoln MemorialThe White House, and other attractions.

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
