Placement Remarks
$19/hour, 32-40 hours/week.
Candidates need to bring professional attire. A couple of suits with different color shirts (no ties needed) and black shoes.
No meal, but free breakfast items (scrambled eggs and potatoes) daily in the TM restaurant for team members to eat after breakfast hours. There is a break room on property.
Candidate will accrue PTO of 18 days in a year based on 32-40 hours/week, if the candidate works less, then they earn less PTO hours.
Hotel will provide airport pickup at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Please discuss with HR before booking flight.
Host company can offer up to 30 days for room & taxes only (no incidental or food). All other charges will be at the candidate's expense.
If candidate lives in the area, they don’t need a car, but is recommended. Bike is an option or candidate can use Uber, bus or train. There is a Transit/ subway that also has a shuttle to the hotel, So if the candidate finds housing on this line, then they do no need to have a license or buy a car.

Housing in San Francisco can be very expensive depending on the area and size of apartment. It is recommended that you start reviewing housing in the area prior to your arrival. The average studio apartment starts around $2500 per month, unfurnished, not including utilities, outside the city center. It is advised as a J-1 exchange visitor that you look into options of sharing housing with other locals and/or J-1 exchange visitors. Below are some resources regarding housing in the area. Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $3000 as startup capital and to help secure housing.

2. Renting an apartment - A studio apartment in SF cost from $1800 to $2500 a month. These apartments typically requires renters to have credit score or some sort of guarantor in order to sign a lease for a year, the initial move in fees for such apartments includes first month's rent and deposit equivalent to he first month rent. Airbnbs are expensive in SF, however it might be a good option for temporary stays.

5. Remember to have some money set aside for a security deposit. Most places will require a security deposit and 1st month's rent at the start (eg $1000 deposit + $1000 rent). The security deposit will be returned after their stay and if the place is handed back over in the same state as how it was received (eg no drilled holes in the wall/no damaged furniture).
Transportation
There are different options of commuting.
Uberpool - Uberpool is the cheaper option for Uber. Sometimes if it is too late to walk home, getting an Uber is a very safe option.
Muni - Local bus/train. A Clipper card(re-loadable train/bus card) can be purchased to pay for rides, or tickets can be purchased on the MUNI app.
BART - Bart is the subway, also requires a Clipper card.
