4* Austin Hotel Seeks Talented candidate to train in their F&B Department! Rotate through Outlets Host/Greeter, Restaurant Server, and In-Room Dining Server!
On your days off, visit the LBJ Presidential Library, Mayfield Park and Nature Preserve, attend various music events or festivals, or even stop by the Cathedral of Junk!

Salary:
Host: $18.50
Restaurant Server: $4.50 + tips
In-Room Dining Server: $12.36 + tips
It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15- 20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $13.50 per hour as a Restaurant Server and $20+ for an In-Room Dining Server.
Benefits:
An employee meal and a uniform is provided.
The hotel will provide up to 14 days of complimentary accommodations on site. No airport pick up is provided. After 14 days, it's the J1's responsibility to secure their own housing

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
