We're on the lookout for a passionate chef to join us for some top-notch training sessions at our esteemed landmark hotel. From mastering various culinary stations to getting a taste of authentic Creole cuisine, we've got it all covered!
And the fun doesn't stop there! Located in the heart of New Orleans' lively French Quarter, you'll have the chance to groove to some soulful music while exploring the vibrant city streets on foot or bike.

Placement Remarks
Rate of pay: $18.00 per hour
Benefits:
A uniform will be provided. Please bring your own knives.
A meal is provided.
They will receive 40 hours of PTO over the 12 months of training.
The hotel will provide airport pickup. They should fly into the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Please communicate your arrival with the DHR via email before you book your flight.
The hotel will provide 14 days of complimentary room and tax.
Every effort will be made to provide on site employee housing at $200 per pay period (Fully Furnished with double occupancy and next to the hotel) but the Hotel cannot guarantee since it will depend on your arrival.” The Hotel will provide up to ten nights complimentary in the Hotel which will give you time to secure housing if employee housing is not available.
Staff housing is an option

Requirements
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA
- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
