Placement Remarks

Rate of Pay:

$32/hour for 40 hours/week

*Your training will take place in ; IRD and Banquets. 

Benefits:

Complimentary meal per shift is offered.

No sick time, maximum of 16 days earned annually based on hours worked. Can begin using PTO after their first 90 days.

You will need to bring your own business attire and a tie for men.

The hotel can accommodate you with 14 days of complimentary room and taxes based on occupancy. Any other expenses are on your own. We prefer you to arrive 3-5 days prior to your start date.

$32.00 per hour

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠  ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠  ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

The D.C. area is home to a tremendous number of cultural activities to do, especially with regard to history, both nationally and worldwide! World-famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see! You can visit the Lincoln MemorialThe White House, and other attractions.

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
