You will rotate through the roles of Food and Beverage Host/Greeter, Reservations Coordinator, and Outlets Supervisor! This program equips participants with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of guest services, preparing them to excel in various customer-facing positions within the hospitality industry.

Tysons Corner, Virginia, is a bustling hub offering a mix of entertainment and shopping experiences. Visitors can explore the expansive Tysons Corner Center, featuring high-end retailers, diverse dining options, and a state-of-the-art movie theater. For a bit of nature, the nearby Scott's Run Nature Preserve offers scenic hiking trails and waterfalls. The vibrant nightlife includes trendy bars and live music venues!

Placement Remarks

Rate of pay: 20.16 per hour for all positions.

Benefits:

Complimentary meal per shift is offered.

You will need to bring your own business attire and a tie for men.

The hotel can accommodate you with 14 days of complimentary room and taxes based on occupancy and preferred before early March start date. Any other expenses are on your own.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠  ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠  ⁠You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

•⁠  ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

The expanded Tysons Corner Center is quickly becoming a new downtown hub of Greater Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. Hyatt Tysons is in close proximity to the Dulles Technology Corridor, world-class medical care, and downtown Washington D.C. Additionally, the hotel is metro accessible and conveniently located 15 miles from both Washington Dulles International Airport and Ronald Reagan National Airport.

The D.C. area is home to a tremendous number of cultural activities to do, especially with regards to history, both nationally and worldwide! World famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see!

Transportation:

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C. The D.C. metro access across the D.C. area is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can once in D.C.

The metro is very reliable, which allows the option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive. Visit WMATA and goDCgo to explore all of the sustainable transportation options!
