On your days off, there are endless opportunities to keep you entertained in Oregon's largest city. Portland, OR sits on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Hood. It’s known for its parks, bridges and bicycle paths, as well as for its eco-friendliness and its microbreweries and coffeehouses. Iconic Washington Park encompasses sites from the formal Japanese Garden to Oregon Zoo and its railway. The city hosts thriving art, theater, and music scenes.

Placement Remarks

Complimentary meal per shift is offered.

PTO plan includes 7 sick days and 14 vacation days after one year.

You will need to bring your own business attire and a tie for men.

The hotel can accommodate you with 10 days of complimentary room and taxes based on occupancy. Any other expenses are on your own.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Transportation: Oregon is a fairly walkable city, you could also take the various transportation options the Portland Streetcar, Portland Aerial Tram, take a bike to enjoy the weather, or on the Bus transit.
