Detailed description

Gain proficiency in Food & Beverage within the lively rhythm of New Orleans! Situated just steps from the renowned Bourbon Street, you'll train at a premier hotel, mastering roles as an Outlets Host/Greeter, Barista, and Outlets Server!

During your free time, immerse yourself in the city's history by visiting iconic Museums such as the Voodoo Museum or the National WWII Museum. Enjoy exploring the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, wandering through the French Quarter, or taking leisurely tours around this captivating town!

Placement Remarks

Salary:

Host/Greeter: $16/hr + tips

Server: $7.25/hr + tips

Barista: $11/hr + tips

Benefits:

The employee break room is available as well.
You will begin to accrue PTO as soon as you start but will not be able to use it until after 90 days.  
The hotel does not provide pick up from the airport. Suggested to use public transit or Uber/Lyft.
The hotel will provide complimentary housing in the hotel upon arrival based upon occupancy and provide an apartment with roommates for the cost of $500 per month.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
