Placement Remarks
Rate of pay: $16.00 per hour
An employee uniform is provided.
You may purchase a staff meal for $2.00 per day.
Staff housing includes a fully furnished unit that houses 4 people, 2 per room. You only have to set up your own cable if wanted. There is a $350 deposit is required at time of arrival and $175 per bi-weekly deduction for rent. You will be required to sign a housing agreement; violations of the housing agreement will revoke your J1 visa.
The property will provide airport pick up from the Connellsville PA Amtrack Station, you will need to take the shuttle bus from the airport to Pittsburgh Amtrack Station. It is highly perferred that you arrive the Thursday – Sunday prior to your start date. The employer will pick you up at the Connellsville Amtrak Station.

Transportation to and from training is provided! The property will also provide a bus pass to get to Uniontown for any additional needs.
There is a two-day orientation that requires you to bring professional attire. Your hair must be clean cut (natural coloring), trimmed facial hair and no visible tattoos. The property will drug test you upon arrival.

Requirements
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Climate:
The climate of Pennsylvania is diverse due to the multitude of geographic features found within the state. Straddling two major climate zones, the southeastern corner of Pennsylvania has the warmest climate. Greater Philadelphia lies at the southernmost tip of the humid continental climate zone with some characteristics of the humid subtropical climate. Moving west toward the mountainous interior of the state, the climate becomes markedly colder, the number of cloudy days increases, and winter snowfall amounts are greater.
