Placement Remarks

Complimentary meal per shift is offered.

PTO Plan can state 9 Paid Leave Days (Vacation & Sick) and 7 Paid Holidays after completion of 90 days.

You will need to bring your own business attire and a tie for men is optional.

The hotel can accommodate you with 10 days of complimentary room and taxes based on occupancy. Any other expenses are on your own.

Rate of Pay: $26.44/hour, Overtime is paid after 40 hours at 1.5x the regular rate of pay.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Transportation: Oregon is a fairly walkable city, you could also take the various transportation options the Portland Streetcar, Portland Aerial Tram, take a bike to enjoy the weather, or on the Bus transit.

Housing: Housing options in Oregon are extremely varied in price. You can find Studio apartments at 2,000 per month, though there are of course more expensive options the closer you are to the heart of the city, and the larger the apartment. Climate: According to the Köppen climate classification, most of Western Oregon has a warm-summer mediterranean climate (or Csb type), which features warm, dry summers, and wet winters with frequent overcast and cloudy skies. Eastern Oregon falls into the cold semi-arid climate (or BSk type), which features drier weather.
