Placement Remarks

Rate of pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

We provide chef coats, pants and aprons. Bring your own knives.

There is no airport pick up, we recommend taking an Uber, Taxi, or Lyft to the hotel.

The hotel can provide up to 5 days of complimentary accommodations at time of arrival.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠  ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠  ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing: 

Housing in Delray Beach can be expensive with a one bedroom apartment starting around $2,400. Apartments will can cost more or less depending on their location. Please note, without established credit a deposit of first and last month’s rent may be required. HRC recommends you begin looking for housing as soon as you are able and bring at least $4,500 to help secure housing.

Climate: 

Delray Beach has a tropical climate with hot summers and mild winters. June-September are the hottest months with temperature reaching 90F (32C) while December-February are the coldest with temperatures closer to 60F (16C). Delray Beach also has a fair share of rain especially during hurricane season (June-November) when tropical storms are likely.
