This 4-Star establishment is seeking a skilled demi chef to rotate between the Restaurant and Banquet Demi Chef positions, before being promoted to the Supervisor/Chef de Partie position!
On your days off, you can explore the historic USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, stroll through the beautiful Bellingrath Gardens and Home, or dive into the vibrant local culture at the Mobile Museum of Art. For a taste of the city's famous Mardi Gras celebrations, visit the Mobile Carnival Museum. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy kayaking or boating in Mobile Bay, while food lovers can savor delicious seafood at one of the city's many restaurants. With its rich history, scenic beauty, and lively events, Mobile provides plenty of entertainment for everyone. There are numerous enjoyable activities to participate in within this captivating and historic coastal town!

The host company will provide a uniform. Please bring your own non-slip black shoes.
The candidate will be eligible for a discounted employee meal.
The host company will pick the candidate up at the airport and provide 14-day accommodation.
If the candidate wants to stay on property, candidate will be charged $250/biweekly.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing: Housing in Mobile can be fairly affordable with a one bedroom apartment starting around $700 per month unfurnished and depending on the area. Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $2,500 as startup capital and to help secure housing.

Transportation: Mobile has a few public transportation options available if staying downtown including a bus service and bike rentals. You can expect to pay around $150 per month for insurance. HRC recommends you bring an additional $2,000 if purchasing a vehicle.
