Placement Remarks
Uniforms will be offered. Shoes are not included in the uniform, please have bring shoes that you can stand in for long periods of time that are not sneakers. Dress shoes/professional shoes. Bring nice slacks and a button-down shirt (business attire) so you have something to wear just in case your uniforms are not delivered in time.
1 complimentary meal per shift is allowed in employee cafeteria.
PTO is not provided until after 12 months.
Airport pick up is not provided however if you fly into DCA or IAD (DCA is only about a 15–20-minute ride from here) public transportation is available. If you fly into DCA, you can take the metro from the airport to Rosslyn station. From there, it is less than a 5-minute walk to the hotel. If from Dulles, you can take the 5A bus to the Rosslyn bus stop and walk to the hotel. This is about a 30-minute commute. You can also take a taxi/Uber directly to the hotel.
Hotel will provide up to 14 days of housing depending on occupancy.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing: Washington DC Metro area is expensive. A 1 bedroom apartment can start around $1800+ per month, unfurnished. Share housing is recommended. Transportation: Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive. Visit WMATA and goDCgo to explore all of the sustainable transportation options! If you still plan on buying a car, car insurance is approximately $111 per month, and the average used car costs about $400 per month or more.
