Experience The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, a 4-Diamond Autograph Collection property with 405 guest rooms, championship golf, pools, beaches, and fine dining. We’re seeking Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Recreation Supervisors to deliver world-class service. Rotate through these key Rooms Division roles and gain hands-on experience in a resort steeped in history and luxury.
Placement Remarks
Front Desk Agent – $15/hr
Recreation Supervisor – $14/hr
Housekeeping Supervisor -$17.00
In the supervisor capacity they will lead a team of 5-10 people
Uniforms will be provided except for shoes. Trainees should bring at least one pair of all black, slip resistant shoes. Shoe needs to be fully encasing with no open toe or heel.
Employee cafeteria/break room is available where meals can be purchased for $4.00.
No paid time off.
Hotel can arrange for transportation from either Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) or Pensacola Regional Airport (PNS).
Employee housing provided at cost.
Housing: We offer employee housing at a subsidized rate of $250 for a regular room or $300 for a Master room bi-weekly, which can be auto deducted from the associate’s paycheck. The rent includes all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash) up to $150 USD per month, per apartment. Any electric charges exceeding $150 USD will be divided among the tenants. WiFi is included in the overall rental costs. Rent also includes transportation to/from the hotel along with potential transportation. The units are dormitory style with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with no more than 8 occupants of the same gender per unit (2 per bedroom). Kitchen, laundry room, living/dining room are shared areas. A non-refundable deposit/administrative charge of $50 USD will be deducted from your first available payroll check.. Employee housing is double occupancy rooms for same gender candidates. Housing rate subject to change in 2025 to reflect market increase.

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Requirements
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
Local info
Point Clear, Alabama is a small coastal town right outside of Fair Hope on the Gulf Coast. Located right on the water, Point Clear offers a beautiful escape from bigger cities with some of the most beautiful sunsets in the state. On your days off head across the bay to explore Mobile or enjoy one of the many outdoor activities in the area.
Housing:
Grand Hotel offer employee housing at a subsidized rate of $102.50 per week which can be auto deducted from the associate’s paycheck. The rent includes all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash) plus basic cable and phone. J1 Residents can set up their own Internet service through Mediacom. Rent also includes transportation to/from the hotel along with potential transportation. The units are dormitory style with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with no more than 4 occupants of the same gender per unit (1 per bedroom). Kitchen, laundry room, living/dining room are shared areas. There would be a $200 deposit, taken out in increments of $50 for the first 4 paychecks along with normal weekly rent of $102.50. Up to $100 of the deposit is refundable upon vacating the unit provided the occupant complied with the terms of the lease agreement. Please note: Employee housing is being restyled and could change to double occupancy rooms for same gender candidates.
Transportation:
Transportation from housing to the hotel is provided within the cost of housing.
If travel outside of the area is desired you will need to find your own transportation. For this a rideshare can be used but the purchase of a vehicle may be necessary. Please keep in mind insurance will be required if purchasing a vehicle. You can expect to pay approximately $150 per month for insurance. HRC recommends you bring at lest $2,500 if purchasing a vehicle.
