Detailed description
Turn your love of cooking into a meaningful culinary training as a Demi Chef. We are seeking enthusiastic, committed candidates who are ready to learn, take on new challenges, and build a strong foundation in professional kitchens. You will train across restaurant and banquet operations, gaining the experience needed to advance toward a Chef de Partie role.
On your off time, explore the nearby city of Mobile, Alabama, relax on the beach, or take in the beautiful surrounding nature.

Salary:
Demi Chef: $16.00 per hour
Chef de Partie: 20.00 per hour
Benefits include uniforms, discounted room nights at most Marriott hotels, and discounts in all corporate Marriott gift shops and restaurants.
After 6 hours of work the employee needs to take a 30 minute meal break (unpaid). If they want to purchase a meal from the employee cafeteria it will cost $3.50

Located right on the water, Point Clear offers a beautiful escape from bigger cities with some of the most beautiful sunsets in the state. On your days off head across the bay to explore Mobile or enjoy one of the many outdoor activities in the area.

Transportation:
Transportation from housing to the hotel is provided within the cost of housing.
If travel outside of the area is desired you will need to find your own transportation. For this a rideshare can be used but the purchase of a vehicle may be necessary. Please keep in mind insurance will be required if purchasing a vehicle. You can expect to pay approximately $150 per month for insurance. HRC recommends you bring at lest $2,500 if purchasing a vehicle.
Climate:
Point Clear can get very hot during the summer months (June-August) but will stay mild throughout the winter (November-January). Average temperatures for the area year round range from 38F (3C) to 90F (32C). Point Clear is sunny 220 days out of the year, but can see around 67 inches of rainfall throughout the year, especially during hurricane season on the gulf.
