Placement Remarks
Restaurant Server – $4.50/hour plus gratuity
Greeter/Host – $13/hour
Banquet Server – $4.50/hour plus gratuity
32 hours per week is considered full time in the USA.
All positions will be given a uniform.
We provide meals Monday through Friday for all associates. No meals are offered on weekends.
You will accrue any personal time off after 90 days at .0744 per hours worked. PTO is intended to be utilized for planned vacations, personal time and 8 federal holidays. Holidays include New Years Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
You will need to fly into Birmingham Airport and take an Uber to hotel.
Homewood have sufficient public transportation. They are able to utilize the bus system or can choose to utilize Uber. Many of our staff utilize Uber to get to/from.
Salary
$4.50 + tips - $13.00 per hour
Requirements
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
