Elevate your culinary career in the heart of the Netherlands! Our esteemed fine dining restaurant is on the hunt for a talented and dynamic Chef de Partie to join our team. Immerse yourself in the world of high gastronomy, where precision, passion, and creativity are at the core of every dish we serve.
Duties
- Preparing and cooking dishes to the restaurant's standards.
- Ensuring ingredients are stocked and fresh.
- Supervising and training any junior kitchen staff in your section.
- Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Contributing to menu development with innovative ideas.
- Managing inventory and minimizing waste.
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless service.
Salary
€2,200 - €2,400 gross p.m. depending on experience and educational background, based upon a 40 hr workweek, 5 days p.w.
Uniforms are provided, 25 paid vacation days, and 8% of the year as set by Dutch law.
Requirements
- You must be eligible to work and live in the Netherlands to be considered for employment (European union nationality)
- You are a culinary graduate who gained experience at middle and upper-class restaurants or hotels.
- You are motivated and dedicated to demonstrating your skills and offer a can-do attitude
- As a leader in the kitchen, you show great commitment and report to the Chef de Cuisine
- Fluency in English is a must and Dutch would be a great asset
