Downtown San Francisco is just 10 minutes away by train. Visit Alcatraz Island, go see the Sealions at the Wharf, hike the Muir Woods and visit the Redwoods, visit a winery, explore scenic coastal parks, shop in vibrant local markets, or indulge in culinary delights. Whether it's hiking at San Bruno Mountain State Park, strolling Burlingame Avenue's shops, or savoring diverse cuisine, there's something for every traveler to enjoy just moments from the airport.

Rate of pay:
$18.50/hour
Benefits:
No meal, but host company offers free soup of the day. There is a breakroom on property.
Candidates will accrue PTO of 22 hours in a year based on 40 hours/week, if the candidates works less, then they earn less PTO hours.
Hotel will provide airport pickup at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Please discuss with HR before booking flight.
Host company can offer up to 30 days for room & taxes only (no incidental or food). All other charges will be at the candidate's expense.
If candidate lives in the area, they don’t need a car, but it is recommended. Bike is an option or candidate can use Uber, bus or train.
*Candidate will need to bring professional attire, suits but no ties.

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing:
Renting a room in San Francisco is probably your best option unless you can afford to live alone. The city is very expensive to rent a studio or 1 bedroom alone may cost up to $2000 per month unfurnished. Keep in mind without any credit it the USA you will need to pay first and last month rent as a deposit. This is why HRC suggests you looking for a roommate to keep your housing costs down.
It is highly recommended that you invest into a vehicle to get to and from work. A car may cost as little as $2000, so please be prepared to purchase a car or moped upon your arrival.
