Requirements
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
• You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
• You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
• You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

Housing costs are affordable one bedroom apartment starting around $700 per month unfurnished and depending on the area.Please note, without established credit your first and last month’s rent may be required as a deposit. HRC recommends you arrive with at least $2,500 as startup capital and to help secure housing.

Transportation:
Montgomery has a few public transportation options available if staying downtown including a bus service and bike rentals. If living outside the downtown area the purchase of a vehicle is encouraged. If purchasing a vehicle, vehicle insurance will also be required. You can expect to pay around $150 per month for insurance. HRC recommends you bring an additional $2,000 if purchasing a vehicle.

Because Montgomery is in the Southern United States it can be hot and humid at times. You can expect to see rain an average of 114 days out of the year with an average 66 inches annually. Mobile can also get very hot with average temperature during the summer reaching more then 90F (32C). During the winter months the temperature will drop to around 40F (4C) with little to no chance of snow.
