Gain amazing Rooms Division managerial experience at this beautiful 4* D.C. Hilton! During your training, you'll rotate through Front Desk Agent, Engineering Coordinator, and Front Desk Supervisor!

On your time off, you can visit numerous museums (Spy, News, the Smithsonian museums, National Gallery of Art, and more), various national monuments (Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, etc.), or stop by the National Harbor and ride the Capital Wheel!

Benefits:

The employer offers 1 free meal per shift , $10 a day discounted parking, and pre-tax (on-matching) transportation deduction from the paycheck.

The company offers 10 paid holidays, even though the nature of the business requires those holidays are observed as "business as usual." The holidays include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day/Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Employment Anniversary, and Birthday Holiday.

All full-time team members are eligible to receive holiday pay after completing 30 days of employment. Holiday pay will not exceed 8hrs per holiday. Team members must work their scheduled shifts prior to and after the holiday to qualify for holiday pay. If a sick day absence occurs before or after the holiday, a doctor's note may be required. Team members scheduled to work on a holiday will receive an additional hour's pay for each hour worked up to 8hrs.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA

- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

World famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see!

Transportation:

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C. The D.C. metro access across the D.C. area is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can once in D.C.

The metro is very reliable, which allows the option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive. Visit WMATA and goDCgo to explore all of the sustainable transportation options!
