Train in this unique Rooms Division program in the heart of the nation's capital! Train as a Guest Services Agent, Guest Experience Curator, and Club Concierge!

On your time off, you can visit various museums (Spy, News, the Smithsonian museums, National Gallery of Art, and more), various national monuments (Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, etc.), or stop by the National Harbor and ride the Capital Wheel!

Salary: $25/hr

Benefits:

Uniform is provided for Guest Service Agent rotation. For all other rotations, traditional business attire (suits) is required and not provided and dry cleaning is not provided.

1 meal per shift is provided; there is a break room.

The candidate will accrue up to 10 vacation/paid time off during the year. They will also have access to 10 paid holidays (following the initial 90 days of employment).

Up to 14 days of complimentary room and tax on the property will be provided.

J1 may submit one transit receipt for reimbursement for arrival (up to $25.00 permitted for flights from Reagan National Airport, up to $50 for flights into Dulles International Airport; receipt required for reimbursement). We are 10 minutes away by car from Reagan National Airport in Arlington, VA, and 30 minutes away from Dulles International Airport in Dulles, VA.

Requirements

Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:

•⁠  ⁠You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)

•⁠  ⁠You have shown consistent career growth over the last years

•⁠  ⁠You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers

The D.C. area is home to a tremendous number of cultural activities to do, especially with regard to history, both nationally and worldwide! World-famous for its historical monuments and cultural landmarks, there are very few cities in The United States that compare in terms of the number of iconic places to see! You can visit the Lincoln Memorial, The White House, and other attractions.

Depending on the location of your housing, a car may not be necessary while living in D.C, where the metro access is quite convenient making travel around the city fairly easy. It is recommended that you get metro passes as soon as you can. It is also an option to live outside the city where the cost of living will be a bit less expensive.
