Employees have access to a cafeteria that provides lunch or dinner, one meal per day.
Any time off is at the discretion of the employer and must be approved beforehand.
The hotel recommends candidates to fly into DFW Airport and take an uber or taxi to the hotel.
The hotel will also provide housing for the first 14 days of the J1's stay in the States until permanent housing is able to be secured.
There is public transportation available, but candidates may choose to purchase a car or other means of transportation if they choose to do so.

Dallas/Plano is affordable in town but on the outskirts it is not. The average apartment starts around $1,400 per month for a studio.
Keep in mind without any credit it the USA you will need to pay first and last month rent as a deposit. It is advised as a J-1 exchange visitor that you look into options of sharing housing with other locals and/or J-1 exchange visitors. By doing so, you can reduce the costs per month to around $800.
